The Aircraft Interiors Expo this year runs from April 4-6 in Hamburg, Germany. The Expo is set to be even bigger and better than last year’s incredible event, with over 400 exhibitors. There are some exciting developments in the aircraft industry. A 12metre-long full-scale cross-section mock-up of the A350 is expected to star on Airbus’ stand in Hall 6. The European aircraft manufacturer is also expected to reveal a new ‘cabin vision’, encompassing the latest lighting, materials and cabin technologies that offer the greatest potential to enhance the passenger experience.
A key factor in that ‘passenger experience’ is the quality of the air they breathe throughout the flight. For both them and the aircrew it is a subject that gets a great deal of attention. The volume of information available on aircraft cabin air quality confirms its critical importance. Naturally one of the product groups on show at the Aircraft Interiors Expo is Air Quality Products. A Montreal company, Air Data, will be presenting its impressive new JetAir systems to enhance the quality of aircraft cabin air.
The JetAir family of cabin air quality solutions was launched at the NBAA2005 AM&C (National Business Aviation Association 58th Annual Meeting & Convention) in Florida in November 2005. JetAir systems are available for both airliners and corporate aircraft. The JetAir systems will now be showcased at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hall 2 at Booth A-17. Lively interest can again be expected as more and more people become aware of what is now available to enhance that ‘passenger experience’.
